Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer a 1967 Pontiac Tempest. From 64-67 the Tempest was Pontiac’s mid-sized sedan with varying trim levels. Standard equipment was a 215 CID I6 with a one-barrel carburetor and 140 HP. This particular example sports an optional 326 CID V8 with a two-barrel carburetor. Behind the 326 is a three-speed manual transmission which is shifted on the column. The car has a great look, painted all black, with the upgrade of a GTO hood. Inside, you’ll find black vinyl upholstery with a bench seat front and rear. Dont worry, this baby has air conditioning to keep the interior nice and cool. Pop the hood to find a factory appearing engine compartment, complete with the Pontiac blue engine paint. This one is mostly stock because it’s a bit of a survivor, with only 61,652 original miles on the odometer. This is a great little piece of Pontiac history, perfect for the Pontiac enthusiast.
