Many upgrades were completed recently including building a 454, evolving it into a 496 stroker. New rods, new crank, new pistons, new oil pump, new 781 big oval port heads, replaced oil pan to street performance pan (7QT), replaced manifold to high rise Holley, replaced engine starter..high torque, replaced with new flexplate, replaced timing chain cover, replaced balance/externally balanced, replaced fuel tank with Aeromotive stealth 1000hp electric pump/fuel level meter, replaced fuel lines with 8 braided fuel line w/ inline fuel filter- 8an, upgraded fuel system. Replaced regulator with Aeromotive 8an inlet/outlet - 6an in/out carb, replaced old 600 cfm carb with Holley 750 double pumper, replace old style manual clutch/fan shroud setup with current dual electric fans/ 2 relays per fan, replaced 45 year old wiring, wired MSD ignition, wired MSD coil, wired all relays to fans, fuel pump, ignition/ fuel tank/level meter, removed old style distributor and plugs and wires, replaced with MSD plugs and wires, and also pro billet distributor.
