Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this 1954 MG TF. This classic car has been owned by the same person for the last forty-nine (49+) years and was always kept inside a garage. The TF was only produced between 1953 and 1955 and was the last of the T-Series before it was replaced by the MGA. There was a total of roughly 9,602 MG TFs produced between 53 and 55 making these few and far between today. This MG is powered by a strong running 1250cc 1.3L I4. The engine was rebuilt roughly 1500 miles ago by 5R Restoration, making this car run like a top. Speaking of tops, the beauty features a convertible top that is in good condition along with the side windows as well. With an ample amount of restoration work done between 2009 and 2013 this car is in good condition. The work completed include: new brake system, front suspension rebuilt, rebuilt carburetor, bored and honed block .60, new crank shaft, cleaned heads and much more. The total amount of work was near $28,000 to ensure this classic car stays up and running for many years to come. The red leather interior is in good condition and was custom installed to look identical to the original interior using one leather red skin.
