It was purchased brand new in the Bay Area by the current owner’s grandfather and maintained at the highest possible levels for almost thirty years. It was then passed down two generations in the early 90’s and enjoyed as an occasional driver ever since. It has spent its entire life in the San Francisco area with minimal changes throughout the years- the carpeting and vinyl have been replaced, but otherwise this beauty has stayed factory true.Additionally, this 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback shows nicely in person with average levels of wear and tear. The exterior paint does show a few blemishes and there is some minor pitting to the chrome, but otherwise the exterior is in excellent shape with excellent body lines. The interior of this classic muscle car is even more impressive with a super clean appearance and all the correct trim accessories. Most would consider this example a really high end driver and it would also be an ideal candidate for a complete restoration. Everything is here and in very nice shape.
