The fastback styling of 67 was given an overhaul with the new models being much rounder than before. The style change was a success with the 69 models reaching over half a million in sales. This 69 may appear on the outside as just an extremely clean well restored Chevelle. The body is laser straight with the black paint laid down in such away that you it looks as if you are looking into an endless well. The chrome on the car is straight and gleaming with no signs of pitting. The wheels give the car an updated look and go well with the overall lines of the car. The block has been filled with a set of Keith Black Small dome pistons connected with by a set of eagle rods. The internally balanced crank allows for high RPM fun. The 781 GM oval heads were ported and polished giving the motor better flow. The aluminum high rise intake has a Holley 950 on top giving this stroked out big block all the fuel it needs. The MSD electronic ignition lights said fuel at just the right time giving this engine an EST 475HP. Handling all that power is TH400 which sends power to the 12-bolt posi-rear.
