Now available in our DFW-Showroom is this impressive 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle. The 1971 Chevelle’s were treated to new front-end and rear-end styling that included large Power-Beam single-unit headlights, a reworked grille and bumper, and integral park/signal/marker lights. New dual round taillights were integral with the back bumper. Because SS models suffered heavy insurance surcharges, Chevrolet introduced the Heavy Chevy at midyear, which was based on the base Chevelle, and was available with any V8 engine except the 454, which was exclusive to SS models. The Heavy Chevy was only available with the base Chevelle sport coupe and was primarily a dress up option and even it was limited to options available on the standard Chevelle sport coupe; vinyl carpeting, front bench seat, no center console shift, etc. Both 350 V8 engines, as well as the dual exhaust 402 cid V8 engine, were available without the SS option; only the LS5 454 V8 required the SS option. This sweet Chevelle, has a Cowl Induction hood, which allows the 350-V8 to consume plenty of air and breaths well as you’re cruising your local strip or getting on it from stop light to stop light! Also, the headers on the 350-V8 are going to be well preserved, since being dipped in ceramic coating and this 350-V8 connects to an Automatic Turbo 350 transmission. This is all tied in by a classy Mulsanne Blue paint job and Sandalwood White interior, which is completed even further by a set of custom Billet Specialties wheels! This ride also comes with vintage air already installed and ready to go! Other options included: Power Brakes, Front disc brakes, Power Steering, Dual Exhaust, Retro sound Bluetooth, & Am/Fm radio.
