The cosmetic modifications for the 1971 edition included a fresh front-end styling that included large Power-Beam single-unit headlights, a reworked grille and bumper, and integral park/signal/marker lights. The current modifications of this Elcamino include: 355 V8 w/Ramjet Cam, TPIS Tune Port Fuel Injection, 4L60E Transmission w/TCI Programmer, Dakota Digital Dash, Vintage A/C and Heat, 373 Posi Rear End, Powered Front Disc and Rear Drum Brakes, Painted Lagoona Blue in 2015, and Spray-in Bed liner.
