The 1994-1996 generation Impala SS was essentially a high-performance version of the Caprice. The Impala SS actually used the Caprice 9C1 police package as its base and was produced with equipment formerly available only to law enforcement. This police package included equipment such as a sport-tuned suspension with reinforced shocks and springs, a high-capacity reverse-flow cooling system (derived from the Corvettes LT1), four-wheel disc brakes, transmission cooler, dual exhaust, a higher-output electrical system, and other minor mechanical alterations. This is a mean looking piece of 90s muscle decked out in maroon paint, grey leather interior, with just under 24,000 original miles. You dont have to sacrifice luxury with this car either, with leather interior and power options galore. The 350 CID LT1 that powers this Impala SS is the original engine and is mated to the original 4L60-E 4-speed automatic transmission. The 10-bolt rear end features a limited slip differential and a 3.08 gear ratio. The odometer reads 23,613, which is the original mileage to the car.
