This big window Ford is finished in a beautiful shade of Ruby Red paint that features a bit of metallic flake and creates gorgeous shimmer in the sunlight. Powering this classic F100 is a 292 CID Y Block V8 engine, that is very similar to what would have been in the truck when it was bought new in 1956. Upgrades to the 292 V8 include headers, a Holley carburetor, and a chrome air cleaner. A 3-Speed manual transmission transfers the power to the rear end via column shift, yup a true “3 on the tree” just like it was meant to be. The lowered stance is achieved by new leaf springs that have been lowered 3” and the new aluminum/alloy wheels, and radial tires. A new solid Oak floor in the bed provides a nice contrast to the Ruby Red paint and an overall awesome look to the truck. New Chrome bumpers shine proudly in the front and rear, while the new dual exhaust provides a nice sound to the 292 Y Block. The interior has been kept basic, with new vinyl upholstery on the bench seat and new carpet on the floor. By keeping it basic, the original feel and appearance has been kept intact to appreciate the simplicity. Adding modern amenities can easily be done if so desired. The odometer reads 18,605, but the actual mileage is unknown. Options for this 1956 Ford F100 included: Vinyl Interior, Radial Tires, and Aluminum/Alloy Wheels.
