This ‘71 cougar exudes a classy, sophisticated attitude. The Wembledon White adds to the upscale feel along with the white convertible top. The body of this beauty is in excellent shape and shows well with the bright chrome. Take a look at the interior and you’ll quickly notice this ‘71 Cougar is triple white. Talk about a clean looking car! The interior is comfortable yet sporty. Everything about the inside of this car screams relaxing, but the “T” handle 4-speed says otherwise. One look at the shifter and you will quickly realize you are in for a treat when you sit in the driver’s bucket seat. If the transmission did not reveal this is a “Muscle Car”, the 429 Cobra Jet Ram Air surely will. There were only three engine options available in 1971 with the 429 Cobra Jet four-barrel V8 being the biggest of them all. The matching numbers 429 Cobra Jet puts out a ground pounding 370 horse power and 450 pounds of torque. This Cougar gives you the best of both worlds – comfort and muscle! There were only 47 convertibles built with the 429CJ engine. This option makes the car extremely rare and a sound investment. How many of the 47 total produced still exist?
