The fourth generation Mustangs were built from 1971-1973 model years, with 1973 being the last year of the “pony car†era. The Mustang fell victim to the energy crunch of the day, and the following year changed focus to a more economical car. This Mustang has been in the care of its current owner for the past 27 years. In that time the car has benefitted from new floor pans, a new hood, and repaint, as well as interior upgrades and regular engine maintenance.
