They were available with either a 440 Magnum V8 or a 426 Hemi V8 engine, they were equipped with a 4-speed manual transmission or a 3-speed automatic transmission (727 Torqueflite). The Hemi powered Coronet Convertibles being extremely rare, with a total of only 6 known to exist. This particular 1967 Coronet is an actual R/T convertible and was born with a 440 Magnum. The current 440 Magnum V8 powering this 1967 Coronet is not the original numbers matching engine, but it is period correct. A 727 Torqueflite transmission transfers the power to the rear end with ease. The trim tag indicates that Dark Red Metallic was the original color for this Coronet R/T, The car has been resprayed over the years, at one point it was believed to have been teal, but all is right with the world again, as it is back to the original color. The black vinyl interior features bucket seats, console, and console-mounted shifter. The Mopar rally wheels are wrapped in raised white letter radial tires that provide an awesome stance and complete the classic muscle car look. With options like power steering, power brakes, and automatic power top this 1967 Coronet R/T Convertible is a must have for any Mopar enthusiasts.
