Almost of soon as these factory supercharged ponies left the factory, they became legends. Showroom is a 2004 SVT Mustang Cobra. Dubbed the “Terminator” by the SVT engineering team these 32-Valve DOHC, supercharged 4.6L V8, monsters dominated the streets. Many believe the 390 advertised horsepower was well underrated for what the Cobra sported from the factory. Its performance was way beyond virtually any previous Mustang, save for the rare and expensive 00 Cobra R and a few big-block Stangs of an era gone by. It featured forged pistons and Manley rods, which racers would normally term as a built short-block. This gave the bottom-end superior strength, and with some simple upgrades and allowed Cobra engines to reach the 800-900hp level. This beautiful example has only 69500 miles on the odometer. The black paint is in excellent shape. The black interior looks to be in very good shape as well with no visible tears or rips. Under the hood, the 32 valve Supercharged 4.6 liter engine is clean and shows no major signs of modifications. Please note there is a Snow Performance Water-Methanol injection kit located in the trunk, so it is safe to say, some aftermarket work has been performed on this beauty. The manual 6-Speed transmission has been rebuilt by Anderson Automatic transmission and has about 19000 miles on it.
