Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is excited to offer this 1962 Chevrolet Biscayne. This 1962 Biscayne for sale is a real beauty and the perfect example of a classic hot rod! The Belair emblems were added by the seller, but this is a real Biscayne. She is powered by an amazing 409 CI V8 with Edelbrock aluminum heads, aluminum intake, and w/ dual quads, mated to a 4-speed Muncie transmission, and a Ford 9 posi-traction rear end with 3:55 gears. The exhaust is handled through a set of headers , and an electric exhaust gate to run open headers. The paint is a nice 2-stage Biege paint, that shows very well - and the color coded steel wheels lets you know there is something sinister under the hood! The interior appears to be original, with a color coordinated vinyl w/ cloth insert bench seat, and looks likes she has been taken care of through the years. It is equipped with a floor mount shifter, column mounted tach, and under dash aftermarket gauges. It surely looks as close to the 62 era as it can - outside the aftermarket stereo. The trunk appears to be original, and is in very good condition for this vintage car. This Biscyane is optioned with: power steering, vinyl/cloth interior, aftermarket am/fm/cd stereo, steel wheels, and B.F. Goodrich T/A P235/60R15, P275/55R17 radial tires.
