VEHICLE DESCRIPTION

Used 1956 Ford F100 for sale in Houston, Texas

Now for sale in the beautiful Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is this awesome 1956 Ford F-100. The truck is powered by a strong and very fresh 351 CID V8 Windsor engine and a 3-speed FMX transmission. Both the engine and transmission have been rebuilt within 5,000 miles and the truck was finished in a gorgeous R-M Diamond base coat and clear coat in Guards Red. It features an 8.8 Mustang rear end with a really nice and well balanced 3.73 gear ratio. The actual miles are unknown, but the odometer shows only 7,285 and it was rebuilt less than 5,000 miles ago. Inside the cabin you will find a finely put together leather interior and features like ice cold A/C, AM/FM radio, CD player, tilt wheel and seat belts. Outside you will like the alloy rally wheels with radial tires. Power brakes and power steering have been added also to make this truck even easier to drive. The Ford F-series has been massively successful for the company. Since 1981 it has been the best-selling vehicle in America and the best-selling truck since 1977! We have been on the thirteenth generation of F-Series since 2015 but this is the second generation of the trucks. The second-generation F-Series made its debut in 1953. It featured increased dimensions, improved engines and an updated chassis. This was also the start of a new naming scheme that paved the way for the trucks. The F-1 was changed to F-100, F-2 and F-3 was combined to become F-250 and the F4- was named the F350. The F-100 was significantly changed in the 1957 and lost some of it’s beautiful lines and curves present on this one. This was the final year of the second generation and therefore it is a very desirable year. Some of these trucks fetch close to $100,000 so it isn’t hard to see that this one is a fantastic deal.
