It looks fantastic with the cars all new chrome trim that is in great condition. This one also has a removable Carson top! Under the hood of this sweet hot rod is a bold 350 Chevy V8 with a Rochester 3 Barrel Carb. This beast 350 V8 has then been linked up to a smooth shifting 350 Automatic Transmission with shift kit. This 49 Mercury, has also been equipped with air ride suspension, power brakes, heat and ac and the original radio has been converted over to AM/FM 12 disc CD player. What makes these cars so great is there unique style and in 40-50’s there is probably no other car that is as memorable! Especially since James Dean drove a 49’ Merc in “Rebel without a cause”.
