This excellent Cobra Replica was manufactured by Backdraft Racing and completed in 2005 (Titled as a 2005), which is one of the top Replica manufactures of the Cobra’s because of their quality and robust chassis design. This Backdraft Cobra features a Ford Racing Z 460 cid V8 that features many high-end components such as, SCAT forged steel crankshaft, SCAT forged H-beam 6.125” length connecting rods, forged Mahle pistons and Clevite bearings. This beast of a motor is fed by two four-barrel carburetors and exhausts through a set of beautiful headers and chrome side pipes. All this power is properly handled by a five-speed transmission which shifts firmly but accurately. This motor was recently installed, original 302 too small, and per owner has less than 500 miles on it. The exterior of this car is covered in a beautiful bright red with the classic dual white racing stripes. Modern tires and rims are another improvement from the original cobra, that really enhance the handling of this Backdraft Cobra. All exterior chrome and trim pieces shine as if they were brand new. The interior of this car features two Ivory colored bucket seats and black carpeting and door panels. This interior, just like the exterior rates as “Excellent” condition. This Backdraft Racing Cobra also has a rare optional heater.
