BACKGROUND: There were five official Cobra Pace Cars prepared by Jack Roush at the track that day for the 1994 Indianapolis 500. Three of the five were used on the track, while the other two were just for show. There were 1,000 Indy Pace Car replicas built in 1994, they all featured the Rio Red exterior paint, saddle leather interior, and a tan cloth convertible top. The 5.0L V8 is rated at 240 horsepower. It was capable of a 0-60 mph in 6.9 seconds and a quarter mile time of 15.30 seconds. This particular 1994 Ford Cobra Pace Car features a 5-speed manual transmission that provides an excellent sporty feel. The Cobra now sits on Cobra R aluminum/alloy wheels, but the original Cobra aluminum/alloy wheels that came on the car new are included with the purchase of the car.
