This Amos Minter (of Minter’s Thunderbird in Dallas) restored 55’ T-Bird looks absolutely fantastic. Open the hood and you will see the original 292 CID 4BBL V8 engine that was rebuilt and restored to like new condition. The Ford-O-Matic automatic transmission was also rebuilt and shifts beautifully. The black and yellow interior shows very well with very little signs of usage. This is a highly optioned interior including the 4-way power seat and telescopic steering wheel. The AM radio and gauges were all rebuilt and function as they should. The 6-volt system is gone, in its place is a more modern and preferred 12-volt system. The rarely seen Golden Rod Yellow paint shines beautifully and stands proud against the gleaming brightwork on this 55’ T-Bird. The underside is just as clean and shows the detail of this quality restoration. The hard top is painted to match the body, while the soft top is black vinyl. You have the possibility of 3 different looks, yellow hard top, black vinyl top, or no top at all! The odometer reads 464, which represents the actual mileage put on the car since the restoration was complete.
