Bought new in Davis, CA, the car has always led a pampered life and has always been serviced at which has allowed it get reach the mileage it has. Sporting the original gold paint with the owner-added two tone chocolate brown,it looks like it may have been ordered that way, but sharp-eyed Z-car people will know better. The black interior is all original as well, and certainly doesnt look like its over 40 years old. The owner claims the tires are brand new and the car was serviced just prior to coming in here on consignment. This little sweetheart also has the optional Datsun spoke wheels and the rear window louvers. The original window sticker still looks new. This is truly a time capsule that runs and drives remarkably well for its age and reported mileage of 178,737 (this cannot be confirmed by GCC), but considering everything is backed up with service records, its for real. The 2.8L engine is larger than its predecessor and has the reliable Bosch fuel injection system metering the fuel. It still has a full size spare, a feature that was discontinued soon afterward.
