This K-10 features 283 Cubic Inch V8 engine mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission. There is less than 3,000 miles on this truck since the motor was rebuilt. The carburetor is new along with the radiator. The radial tires with raised white letters are wrapped around aluminum wheels. The brakes are new on this, along with the cylinders. The new red paint job looks fantastic. The interior of red cloth in this truck is in excellent condition as well. The first All GM factory 4x4s were introduced in 1960 when both Chevy and GMC went to a totally new chassis. This was the introduction of GMs completely redesigned truck line featuring independent front suspension on the two-wheel drive trucks and a 4-wheel drive specific chassis on the 4-wheel drive trucks. Since 1957, trucks were available from the factory as four-wheel drive, and the new class scheme would make this known. A C (conventional) in front of the series number indicates two-wheel rear drive while a K denotes four-wheel drive. This Chevy K10 is in great condition and you will be proud to take it anywhere. Cruising around town with one hand on the wheel and the other resting on the window sill will remind you of the good ol’ days! During the restoration they put on all new metal cab corners, rocker panels, drip rail. The bed of the K-10 is a custom build with new wood.
