In another change, only the Cougar XR7 personal luxury coupe was carried over from 1979, temporarily marking the discontinuation of a full range of Cougar body styles. This Cougar has a 5.0-liter V8 with a 4-speed automatic. The carburetor has been rebuilt. It is newly painted and has a beautiful shine. The landau roof is a significant contrast to the white paint.
