Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this incredible 1968 Chevelle Restomod. I’m not even sure where to begin. This car has undergone a complete restoration with some amazing custom features. Under the hood lies a 396 bored .030 over that is balanced and blueprinted. Internals are a Comp thumper cam with roller rockers and lifters, fired by an MSD ignition and topped with a Holley 750 and Edelbrock intake. Gas is fed through a Holley electric fuel pump. The entire car boasts a Painless wiring system too! The beast is backed by a Turbo 400 with Coan converter and 2800 stall handled with a B&M shifter. Power gets to the ground through a 12 bolt Posi and 3.73 gears. This car sounds nasty with Hooker headers and full length duals with electric cutouts that will set off car alarms in the distance! The wheels are 20” American Racing wrapped in Falken tires. Coil-overs on all four corners help this handle like a champ with tube A-arms up front and rear sway bar in the back. Helping it stop are 4 wheel disc brakes. The custom paint is a Sherwin-Williams and the previous chrome pieces have been given the matte and textured treatment from the same manufacturer. The many custom touches inside are a dash with Marshall Electric Gauges, center console, LED lighting, electric windows, touch screen stereo with Bluetooth, GPS and back-up camera. To attempt to drown out the noise Pioneer speakers a Kenwood Amp and subs will give it a go.
