Particularly interesting is the stainless-steel exhaust system, which employs twin mufflers and a vacuum-actuated bypass valve. The latter opens at a specified pressure, looping some of the exhaust through the less restrictive mufflers and short tailpipes. The goals are increased low-end torque and a seriously rumbling sound.
