Introduced in late 1947, the F-Series was the first post-war truck design from Ford. The first generation of the F-Series would remain in production until 1952. F-Series trucks were assembled at sixteen different Ford factories. Serial numbers indicate the truck model, engine, year, assembly plant, and unit number. This 1950 Ford F1 was professional built by drag racer Dick Lahaie. It has aHigh performance 221 cu. in. flathead V-8 engine with B&M supercharger with Offenhauser aluminum heads. Englewood Cam. This beast has a Holley double pumper carburetor. This great truck has 4wheel disc brakes to get stopped in a hurry. The Chrome wheels and bumpers shine in the sun. The paint is a deep Maroon that looks great. The Gray cloth interior is in excellent shape as well. The Three-speed manual transmission is a blast to drive.
