The Chevrolet Master and Master Deluxe were manufactured and marketed between 1934 and 1942 to replace the 1933 Eagle model. It was the top-of-the-line model for Chevrolet during that era. The base model in 1939 was renamed the Master 85. While the original powerplant, a 206 cid inline 6 rated at 80hp performed well in the day, this 1939 touring machine will do better. This build features a GM ZZ4 302 cid, 224 hp V8 crate motor mated to a Turbo-Hydramatic 3-speed automatic transmission and 10-bolt Chevy 3:23 rear end. This beautiful Purple/Grey machine also includes rack & pinion steering, power front disc brakes, ceramic coated headers, stainless exhaust & fuel tank. Additional features include Power Steering, AM/FM /CD sound system and tilt steering wheel. The owner states only 7280 miles since completion of the build.
