VEHICLE DESCRIPTION

Used 1969 Plymouth GTX for sale in Benicia, California

This 1969 Plymouth GTX 2-door Convertible (Stock # B11394) is available in our Benicia, CA showroom and any inquiries may be directed to us at 707-748-4000 or via email at [Sales@SpecialtySales.com](mailto:Sales@SpecialtySales.com).1969 Plymouth GTX 4-Speed Roadster- 1 of 178 ProducedUp for sale today is an incredibly rare and desirable muscle car; a 1969 Plymouth GTX 2-door convertible with Sunfire Yellow paint and blackout hood treatment. It also has a classy white interior and this GTX features a powerful 440 CI V-8 engine under the hood with an incredibly rare four-speed manual transmission. Only 178 GTX four speed convertibles were produced in 1969 and even rarer than that it is only 1 of 33 with the Super Track Pak. To top it off this is one of the few remaining examples anywhere in the US. It is in very nice overall condition as well and ready to enjoy right away.Completely Restored w/ Many Original PartsThis 1969 Plymouth GTX two-door convertible does not have the factory 440 V-8 or four-speed transmission installed, but it has been fully restored back to factory specifications with a date correct engine and heavy duty transmission. It is one of the only convertible Mopar muscle cars you'll find anywhere with a big block engine and a four speed manual. Since the convertible was discontinued in 1970, only a handful of these are still remaining and it is rare to see a collector part ways with one. A similar example sold at auction for over $100k just a few years ago, which speaks to the desire to own this rare classic. In terms of actual condition, this 1969 Plymouth GTX Convertible is exceptionally clean throughout after many years of exceptional care. We were informed that it is an older complete restoration that has been mainly in storage for the past several years, but it starts well and drives nicely with exceptional power. This muscle car is a true pleasure to drive with a great feel on the open road and excellent curb appeal- it should not last for long at the current asking price. An Exceedingly Rare Find & Fantastic Overall ConditionOverall, this ultra-rare 1969 Plymouth GTX two-door convertible is highly desirable and it belongs in a serious collector's garage. The value of these blue-chip collectibles has been steadily rising in recent years as well, so now is the perfect time to own this beauty at a sensational price.  For more information about this vehicle, visit our Benicia, California showroom, give us a call at 707-748-4000, or email us at [Sales@SpecialtySales.com](mailto:Sales@SpecialtySales.com).  Be sure to mention Stock #B11394  as well.Legal Disclosures: Specialty Sales Classics has advertised and sold thousands of classic cars since our founding in 1978.
