For sale in our Chicago showroom is a Monaco Orange 1969 Chevrolet Corvette. 1969 was the second year of the C3 Corvette design that would carry on for 14 years and the T-tops allowed for some fun in the sun and was the perfect way to usher in the excitement of the 1970s. The two engine options available were the 350 Cubic Inch small block and the 427 Cubic Inch big block and this classic Vette has the latter which generated a whopping 390 Horsepower. This split-bumper Corvette has the classic styling of the late 60s and the split chrome bumpers were only available for the first 5 years and were replaced by the body-colored crash bumpers that offended the Corvette purists. The Monaco Orange paint still shines nice and is complimented by the black bucket seats. This 427 Corvette has a period correct V8 that is believed to be a factory replacement for the original 427 and mates perfectly to the 4-speed transmission with chrome ball shifter. Options on this Corvette include the original AM/FM radio power brakes bucket seats wood dash trim and the super cool t-tops.
