Up for sale in our Tampa showroom is very nice 1967 Plymouth Belvedere GTX. The Plymouth GTX was introduced as the Belvedere GTX in 1967 by the Plymouth division to be a gentlemans muscle car. The GTX was to be an exceptional blend of style and performance. What differentiated it from a normal Belvedere was its special grille and rear fascia shared with the Satellite chrome pit stop fuel filler cap and optional racing stripes. This 1967 Plymouth Belvedere GTX has a massive 440 cubic inch V8 as the power plant that is linked to a very responsive 833 four speed manual transmission. The engine and transmission are both sporting a little over 1000 miles since being built and are two very nice additions to this Belvedere that started out life as an original 318 V8 engine and 3 speed manual column shifter. The exterior paint color is a very rich and glossy black that is complimented very nicely by the black vinyl interior and the two really give the GTX a true muscle car look. The 1967 model year was the last of the square boxy design for the Belvedere GTX and the smoother coke bottle style body was introduced on the 1968 model year. The 1967 Plymouth Belvedere GTX comes equipped with power brakes for better stopping power with disc in the front and drums on the rear. Options include: AM/FM radio with cassette player power brakes seat belts vinyl interior and rally wheels wrapped in radial tires.
