This 1966 C10 is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. 1966 would be the last year before Chevy made a significant change to its C/K line of trucks. The original C10 had a lot of firsts but probably the most important would be the use of independent front suspension. This would be followed up by a coil spring set up in 63 and really set the Chevys apart from the other guys. This 66 has took the whole drive like a car thing to the next level. Recently going through a frame on restoration this 66 C10 has been updated with all the creature comforts that you expect in a car today. Start with the interior The Leather bucket seats not only look amazing but are as comfortable as a new Cadillac. Not quite in the right position no problems since at the push of a button the seat comes forward or back as well as reclines giving you all the comfort of a luxury car. If it gets too warm while cruising around simply put the power windows up and kick the vintage AC unit on and you will be cooled down in no time. The custom white faced dolphin gauges keep up with the high end theme. The exterior has been finished in classic silver that looks great on the step side body. The wood bed definitely keeps with the high end theme and is sure to grab everyones attention. The lid for the gas tank has been routed through the bed giving the truck a sportier look. Pop the hood and a fresh 327 crate motor looks right at home with the Edelbrock sitting on top feeding this high rev small block just the right amount of fuel. The headers are fed into a true dual exhaust that sounds great. Ofcourse if thats not loud enough hit the button under the dash and wait for the cutouts to open up. Putting power to the 10 bolt rear end is courtesy of the tre- mec 5 speed that not only has a great shift pattern but put in 5th and cruise down the highway turning less than 2000 RPM. If you have been looking for a truck that can take you anywhere but do it in not style but comfort your look is over.
