For sale in our Chicago showroom is a 1973 Mustang Mach 1. The Mach 1 was available on the Sports Roof Mustang in 1973 and the body style along with the Mach 1 moniker and flat black hood stripe is a favorite amongst collectors and muscle car enthusiasts. Originally equipped with a 302 V8 this car has been pepped up with a 429 that has that unmistakable big block growl. With only 7000 miles on the engine and much less on a full transmission overhaul this car is ready to hit the open road. The interior appears to be original and well preserved and the mileage of 93325 could be the original. You may be seeing a lot of Mach 1s out on the road but one with a fresh 429 is truly what sets this car apart. Options on this pony include an AM/FM radio with CD player power steering power brakes seat belts and full vinyl interior. There are a lot of Mustangs on the road today but this one is sure to turn some heads. The transmission was just completely rebuilt less than a year ago and this car also has new brakes brake lines and a new alternator.
