This beautiful 1950 Ford F1 is for sale in our Fort Lauderdale showroom. The F series line of trucks was introduced in 1948 as the Bonus-Built truck. This was due to the simple fact that the new line was just that- a completely new line. No longer were there trucks based upon a traditional car chassis but rather they were built on a dedicated truck platform. With all new sheet metal and a much larger cab the new F1 was an instant hit. The two-tone grey exterior is complemented by bright chrome and stainless accents. The fresh wood bed new Coker wide white wall tires and bright factory style hub caps complete the classic look on this pickup. Under the hood lies a Chevy small block 350 CID V8 that is mated to a turbo 350 transmission backed by a Nova rear end. The Mustang 2 front end with power steering power brakes helps this â??50 F1 handle just like a new car.
