For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a very well built Pro-Touring 1972 Buick Skylark. The odometer reads 36450 with the actual mileage unknown an estimated 2000 miles being put on the car since the build was complete. Options for this 1972 Buick Skylark include: Air Conditioning AM/FM Radio with CD Player Power Brakes Power Steering Tilt Wheel Seat Belts Vinyl Interior Boyd Aluminum/Alloy Racing Wheels and Nitto Drag Radial Tires. Powering this Pro-Touring 72 Skylark is a 355 CID V8 engine with an MSD ignition and a Quick Fuel carburetor. A March front drive system with 1 serpentine belt is in place for simplicity and aesthetics. An aluminum radiator with an electric fan has been employed to cool the race engine to perfection. A Turbo 350 automatic transmission transfers the muscle to the Ford 9 Posi-Trac rear end which houses 3.73 gears. Ceramic headers flow from the small block V8 to the Magnaflow mufflers and provide an awesome rumbling sound. Underneath this monster you will see a plethora of CPP products (big brake setup tubular control arms and sway bars) to improve both handling and braking. On each corner you will see coil-over adjustable springs/shocks as well. All those goodies underneath paired with the staggered Boyd aluminum/alloy wheels (18 in the front and 20 in the rear) create a perfect stance and appearance. The cream vinyl interior is in good condition free from any rips tears or serious wear. The body is comprised of all original sheet metal except for the aftermarket fiberglass hood which was added for its lightweight and good looks. The Sikkens base/clear coat orange paint and black accents were applied three years ago and look phenomenal. Completing the Pro-Touring look is the front splitter with adjustable struts and the rear wing which add an extra bit of individualism.
