VEHICLE DESCRIPTION

Used 1968 Chevrolet Camaro for sale in DFW AIRPORT, Texas

For sale in our Dallas showroom is a monstrously built 1968 Chevrolet Camaro. This car took 3 years think about thatâ?¦.3 years of blood sweat and tears lots of tears. This build was centered around a huge Morgan and Sonâ??s built 555 CID short block. After adding the aluminum heads the compression ratio is 10.5:1 set up for 92 octane pump gas and is rated at 700 horsepower. That engine is mated to a TH400 transmission built to handle the extra wild horses. The power is then transferred to a Ford 9â? rear end filled with 3:89 gears before it reaches the ground via massive Hoosier Pro Street 29X18.5X15 tires stretched over Billet Specialties wheels. Supplying fuel to the heart of this beast is a Holley 1050 Dominator Carb. The suspension wasnâ??t left alone having been completely redone front to back. The front suspension consists of QA-1 tubular control arms coilovers and all new Hotchkis Steering components. Baer disc brakes front and rear and cpp brake master cylinder. The rear suspension was completely modified to accommodate those rear tires. The rear wheel wells were tubbed and the frame was narrowed. A ladder bar suspension was installed to handle any hard launches. The body was completely redone with all new steel replacing the entire front clip inner and outer wheel wells. The floor pans were replaced front the back half forward replacing practically all of the body. Once that was completed the silver paint was applied with a few coats of clear to give it a nice shine. Interior was done as well with new Procar seats new gauges and a roll cage. Removable door bars were used to make it easier to get in and out and 4 point harnesses on both left and right sides. Thousands of dollars and many hours of work were put into this build and it shows. The features include Seat Belts Radial Tires and Billet Racing Wheels.
