This 1992 Chevrolet Lumina Z34 Dale Earnhardt Edition is available in our Louisville showroom. Called many things The Man in Black Iron Head Mr. Restrictor Plate and a lot more that cant be typed here however Dale Earnhardt was most popularly known as The Intimidator. No one in NASCAR or any other sport had ever struck fear in his opponents like Dale did. From the late 70s up until his untimely death on February 18th 2001 the last thing you wanted to see in your rearview mirror was Dale Earnhardt. The name really stuck after an on track episode during the All Star Race where he spun out Elliot in the final segment. As with all great entertainers Dale cashed in on this notoriety and began selling just about anything you can think of with either the number 3 or The Intimidator on it. As car owners and drivers often do Dale had his own Chevy Dealership in his hometown of Newton North Carolina. After winning the Championship in 1990 they decided to build 3 prototype Luminas in honor of him winning. After an outpouring of fans demanding their own Z34 Intimidator the decision was made to give his fans what they wanted but only 25 of them a year. This รข??92 was purchased as a collector piece which explains the extremely low 569 miles. This one owner car has lived an extremely pampered life rarely being driven but started every month just to keep everything nice and lubed. The black paint looks like it rolled off the showroom floor with all decals in excellent condition. The interior is just as nice with the burgundy bringing out the red accents of the exterior. Powered by the 210 HP 3.4 V6 this Lumina is no slow slouch it was an absolute rocket in 1992. The original window sticker is included along with the original title and maintenance book both signed by Dale himself. With the popularity of Dales memorabilia increasing in the past couple years this extremely limited production vehicle is sure to fly out of here faster than The Intimidator running a hot lap at Daytona.
