This 1964 Chevrolet Corvette is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. Though the shortest running Vette of them all the C2 is what many consider the best looking corvette and possibly the best looking car period. The 64 is the second most sought after C2 after the split window of course due to its unique hood. Chevrolet took out the trim panels on the hood but left the indentations which are something you only find on a 64. This beautiful example finished in the classic red paint looks great with the top up the hardtop on but probably is the most appealing topless. The engine is a 1967 327 V8 that sounds great and pulls very strong even on the bottom end. With an original rating of 275 HP this Vette is an absolute blast to drive. Backed up by the numbers matching transmission the M20 4 speed feels great when shifting through the gears and definitely adds a ton of enjoyment. Though the car started life being black you would never tell as the body has been completely painted to the very appealing red that it is now. The gleaming chrome rear bumpers which were just recently replaced will have everybody staring at your rear-end. Finished off with a set of chrome spoke knock off wheels the exterior of this little drop top looks like its ready for a cruise down the Pacific Coast Highway. Peer inside and you will see the period correct black vinyl interior which is exactly the way this Stingray came from the STL assembly line. With the Hurst shifter mounted in the center console the quarter stick places it at the perfect spot. With the C2 being the most sought after of all the Vettes this little red roadster is sure to find a new home rather quickly so in the words of some unknown philosopher���. Think long think wrong.
