The 1941 Willys has been a platform for many builders to create their masterpiece and this 41 Willys Coupe is no exception. The draw dropping custom flame paint job matched with a blown dual carb 468 CID V8 and a bounty of awards to go with it this 41 Willys might just be the best one out there. The first thing that grabs your attention is the paint scheme on this car. It is a gold basecoat with a custom mix of a Matrix yellow and orange candy metallic that just comes alive in the sunlight. The realistic flames are a real attention getter and adorn the sides of the car as well as onto the hood and scoop then carry into the trunk area. Open the hood and you will notice the blown 468 CID V8 in all of its glory along with all the chrome and stainless parts it instantly grabs your attention. This 1941 Willys Coupe is powered by a Ed Wasserbeck built 468 CID V8 engine topped with a polished BDS Supercharger and dual Holley carburetors this combination is putting out some serious torque and horsepower. The blown big block is backed by a manual valve body TH400 3-speed automatic transmission with an air shifter operated by push buttons on the center console and running back to a Ford 9 rear end with 2.73 gears. A Ridetech air suspension setup gives this 41 Willys the ability to drop the car for a killer show stance and also to raise it up to a comfortable driving height. Inside you will find a completely custom interior with a handmade dash and gorgeous waterfall console giving it a very clean and streamlined look. The seats are done in a wine colored leather with gold snakeskin inserts that give it that ultimate wow factor! This 41 Willys comes to us with an impressive list of awards in tow. It was featured at the 2013 Detroit Autorama and took 3rd place overall and was awarded the most outstanding Pro-Street at the invite only Northeast Rod and Custom Nationals in Philadelphia in 2013.
