VEHICLE DESCRIPTION

Used 1969 Chevrolet Camaro for sale in Memphis, Indiana

This one off custom 1969 Chevrolet Camaro is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The 1969 Camaro is one of the most iconic cars of all time. With sleek body lines and a look that is unmistakable the car has become a platform for some of the most radical builds ever seen. Starting life as a solid rust free car it was completely tore down and taken a part. The next step was to figure out exactly what to do with the car. After going back and forth with just your basic run of the mill restoration or a full on custom the decision was made to go all in and build the smoothest cleanest 69 I have ever seen. The body alone has over 4000 man hours in metal work. Not wanting anything to stand out the drip rails were removed as well as the door handles giving the body an even smoother appearance. The rear three piece spoiler has been turned into part of the car with the trunk lid now being one piece and the sides molded directly into the quarter panels. The LED brake lights have been smoothed in to the rear as well turning the whole back of the car into one solid piece. The bumper has been painted and pulled into the car completing the smoothest back end to ever adorn a 69 Camaro. Of course if you want to be in this league of automobile everything even stuff you normally dont see has to be of the highest quality. The underneath of this car had more time in it than most normal restorations. Starting in the back with the gas tank which has been painted the same custom Erica Red it has been smooth out and shines as much as the rest of the car. The custom polished rear end houses a Currie 9 inch that can handle the power and look good while doing it. The Detroit speed quadralink and traction bars like the rest of the body have been smoothed in making it all one continuous piece. With the frame smoothed into the body the underneath of this gem is a true work of art. The TCI front sub-frame snugs up nicely against the custom inner fender wells. With all of the gas and break lines hidden it keeps your focus on the overall car instead of some hoses jumping out at you. Now to the heart of the creation a five hundred and two cubic inch GM performance crate motor that was initially pumping out 502 horsepower was sourced. With the old adage that more is better the aluminum heads were ported and polished while a polished Edelbrock intake and carb were installed and tuned to give it that extra oomph. The custom hood has been smoothed out on the underside of the hood with only the opening for the one off custom breather that was made just for this build. The one off billet wheels have been hand polished and show off the 4 wheel Wilwood brakes perfectly. One look inside at the custom interior by Paul Atkins of Hanceville AL and you are sure to be blown away. The custom one piece dash holds all the proper gauges for easy driver viewing. The dark brown leather is complimented nicely by the even darker suede. The middle console contains the Vintage AC controls as well as the Clarion radio. The custom shifter knob that controls the Tremec 5 speed looks right at home with the brushed aluminum accents giving it a high-end look. Open the center armrest the window switches and hand brake are nicely tucked away keeping with the smooth sleek theme. With all the quality of work that has been done to this astonishing machine it is hard to believe that it has not made any of the major car show circuits. The one event it did go to the good Guys fall event in Bowling Green it won the builders choice award. A great start to a life time of awards that is sure to follow. Options on this one off custom 1969 Chevrolet Camaro include; AC AM/FM radio with CD Player leather interior tilt steering wheel seat belts power brakes and Custom aluminum alloy wheels wrapped in radial tires.
