The Chevrolet Chevelle for sale is a Muscle Car produced by Chevrolet in three generations for the 1964 through 1977 model years. Part of the General Motors A-Body platform the Chevelle was one of Chevrolets most successful nameplates. Body styles include coupes sedans convertibles and station wagons. Super Sport versions were produced through the 1973 model year and Lagunas from 1973 through 1976. After a three-year absence the El Camino was reintroduced as part of the new Chevelle lineup. The Chevelle also provided the platform for the Monte Carlo introduced in 1970. The Malibu the top of the line model through 1972 replaced the Chevelle nameplate for the redesigned downsized 1978 models. Now once again the Chevelle is a muscle car but this one is unlike any other. This Chevelle for sale is brand new with 79 miles since the rebuild which included a full frame off and media blasted restoration. Replacing the original power plant was a crate bought block 4 bolt main and its been vetted decked stress plated bored .60 over line board balanced and stuffed with Ross forged pistons Scar forged 4340 crankshaft and a humongous camshaft. Topped with aluminum head a big intake and carburetor that would power a plane. Backing the big horsepower V8 is a TH-400 3 speed automatic transmission. Putting the power to the pavement is a monster built 12 bolt rear end. The car was covered with a gorgeous Gunmetal grey black stripe and color matched wheels bumpers and trim. Big 4 wheel disk brakes keeps the car under the driver in intense driving situations. The car was stuffed with an amazing looking grey and black leather seats with suede inserts. There is no such definition of perfect but this Chevelle is close.
