For sale in our Orlando showroom is a 1948 Ford Tudor. This great looking 48 Ford comes to us featuring a host of amenities for the modern driver but wrapped in a distinctly old school package. The sheet metal itself is a great condition all steel 48 Ford with great attention to detail paid to the paint job and body work. Under the hood of this cruiser is your standard issue 350cid Chevrolet V8 but it is mated to a 4 speed 700R4 transmission so you can cruise comfortably at 75 and not have to worry about funding an oil companies next retreat to Barbados. All of this power is planted to the ground via a Detroit Locker equipped rear end with 3.42 gear ratio. This great show piece is also equipped with a vintage air A/C system to make weekend cruising very comfortable. Inside the cabin youll notice plenty of features usually reserved for modern cars such as cruise control AM/FM/CD player power seats and tilt wheel. The interior itself is done in a very nice maroon velour that compliments the seafoam green body work quite nicely and is all tied together with a set of gold vintage VDO gages. Currently the hot rod market seems to be shifting towards the pre and post war cars due to an abundance in quality steel canvass still available the same which cannot be said for its Model A and T brethren.
