Camaro was totally redesigned from the ground up. Using the now emphasis F-body platform it would be the first Camaro with a hatchback body style and would be the most defining characteristic of the vehicle. Available with a host of engines from a 4 cylinder economy box to the crossfire injection V8 with the same technology as the Corvette had. This Camaro is one of the rare Pace car Editions that made it through the 80s and 90s without being completely tore up or wrecked. It still maintains the original cross fire 305 that the factory put in it. Mated to a turbo 350 3 speed with lockup the shifts are crisp with firm positive up shifts. While the odometer shows less than 11000 miles this f body would make a great addition to any Camaro collection. The badging on the car still looks great with no hazing or peeling what so ever. The striping on the vehicle adds to the graphics and completes the package nicely. The glass T tops look like they have never seen any abuse with no signs of cracking chips or wear. Tucked away in their original bag specially made for the hatchback it actually hooks into place securing them tightly ensuring their safety while driving. When taken off they give you the feel of a convertible while maintaining the coupe rigidity. The interior is in excellent condition and carries the theme from the outside in. With the blue and gray two tones it really brings out the pace car concept. The driver bucket has the Z28 emblem embroidered reminding you your driving one of the most well known sports car ever made. The Lear-Seigler manually adjustable seats that were part of the pace car package are very comfortable with the larger side bolsters keeping you in the seat. If you are looking for a new classic that is sure to appreciate over time this one owner with the original window sticker maybe a good investment.
