1977 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser for sale in our Indianapolis Showroom. This 77 FJ40 is powered a 2F 4.2L 6-cylinder engine backed by a 4-speed manual transmission and 4.10 gears. The seller states that this classic has 89563 actual miles on it. The FJ40 is one of the most popular utility vehicles of all time. These Toyotas are known for reliability and their off-road capabilities. Although the 2F Toyota engine is known for being indestructible it was common to see V8 swaps on these versatile SUVs. As a result very few unmolested FJ40s remain. This FJ spent most of its life in the high desert of eastern Washington and is a very well preserved example. A recent light restoration included: new gas tank and fuel lines new clutch kit with master and slave cylinders rebuilt carburetor and vacuum lines new belts new fuel pump rebuilt steering box new shocks new ball joints brakes and wheel cylinders as well as a new exhaust system. The 4.2L has great compression and was recently tuned up and all smog equipment is intact. The body is all original and the FJ40 is offered for sale in Toyota Freeborn Red with black interior. During the restoration the inside tub was professionally painted and the seats and door panels were redone. The classic was then undercoated with POR-15 to ensure that the 4x4 would remain solid in any climate. An HFS front bumper and a Warn 8724 winch were recently added along with a Pioneer Bluetooth stereo and 300-watt JBL speakers. You will not find a more original FJ40 in this condition on the market today.
