The Plymouth Prowler of the late 90s was no more with the extinction of Plymouth and in 2000 the Chrysler Prowler was introduced. The Prowler for sale is retro hot rod styled car manufactured and marketed in 1997 and 1999-2002 by Daimler Chrysler based on the 1993 concept car of the same name. The Prowler for sale has a total of 10767 miles its basically a brand new car. The design of the Prowler for sale was inspired after Chrysler engineers were given free rein to create whatever they wanted in a hot rod or sportster type vehicle. One of the most striking design features of the Prowlers are the open Indy racer style front wheels. The Prowler features an amazing powertrain including a 3.5L Chrysler SOHC V6 engine 24v aluminum block that was rated at a scorching 253 hp. These hellion engines were coupled to a 4-speed Autostick automatic transmission. The transmission is located at the rear of the vehicle and is joined to the engine by a flexible driveshaft . This arrangement is very similar to that used by the C5 Corvette Porsche 944 and Alfa Romeo 75 and helped to facilitate a desirable 50-50 front-rear weight distribution and give these cars the ultimate handling vs. performance ratio.
